Amy’s love of photography began early. She picked up her camera at age 13 and it has not been far from her reach since.  Having spent most of her early life atop a horse in Midddleburg, Virginia, it was natural that her earliest photography studies focused on horses, equestrian life and the small town of Middleburg. Amy went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in photography. After spending nearly 20 years in fashion events design in New York City, she made the fateful move to Beaufort, South Carolina to once again draw on the charmed effects of the south. Amy’s intention is to balance the vibrant urban experiences with the rich culture and mystical , raw landscape of the Deep South.

Amy works in both digital and film formats. However, she works mainly with her 8x10 Canon EOS and has a passion for developing her images in the darkroom. While she explores a variety of genres, she is most passionate about producing series in landscapes of the Deep South, architecture and candid portraitures.
